Position summary: 

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Project Manager works with COSOL customers to understand their business requirements, objectives and needs to be able to manage project teams to successfully deliver projects from both the customer and COSOL’s perspective. The Project Manager will adopt COSOL methodology and other recognised project management approaches to manage and control projects from project definition through to project close-out.

 
To be successful in this role you will possess the following competencies, skills and experience:
 
·     Minimum of 5 years Project Management experience
  -        focused primarily on technical development and business improvement projects
  -        with small to medium project teams in mining and capital intensive industries
  -        certification in a recognised project management methodology e.g. PRINCE 2/PMBOK - highly desirable
 
·     Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
·     Excellent interpersonal skills in liaison, negotiation and conflict resolution with staff and customers at all levels
·     Demonstrated high level organisational skills including the capacity to set priorities and work to personal and project team deadlines
·     Ability to effectively manage a project team in a fast changing environment and to work productively with limited supervision
·     Ability to direct, manage and motivate a project team
·     Display strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior team members
·     Experience in the use of Microsoft desktop products such as Word, Excel and Outlook
·     Experience in the use of tools and applications specific to project management including MSProject

·     Minimum 5 to 7 years of maintenance experience in the resources or other asset intensive industries
·     Knowledge in Maintenance procedures, support, configuration and optimisation
·     Proven experience in requirements gathering and documentation
·     Knowledge in Ellipse, SAP, Oracle eAM, Pronto, Maximo or other equivalent Maintenance Systems
